About
the Crawl
The
original Guinness World Record for the largest pub crawl was set
in Maryborough (population 26,000), Queensland, Australia in June
2005 with 1,198 participants.
The
Heritage City broke its own record in June 2006 with 2,237 people
visiting 17 pubs in six hours. In October 2006, London (population
7.5 million) broke our record by just 41!
June
2007 saw 2,758 people participate in the biggest and best crawl
yet.
Join
us on Sunday 8 June 2008 for the 4th attempt on the World Record.
Participants can take part at any level, but to be accepted as a
real Pub Crawler, you must have one drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic)
in at least 10 pubs. Your official Pub Crawl Card must be stamped
and initialed at each pub to be part of the attempt to better the
record.
Please
